With over 13 years of experience in the Drupal ecosystem and a career rooted in the bedrock of telecommunications, Adrian McKee brings a rare "full-stack" perspective to net2Community. Since joining the team in 2017, Adrian has evolved alongside Drupal, mastering everything from complex site-building and UI architecture to custom module and theme development.

From Infrastructure to Interface

Adrian's technical journey began at AT&T, where he rose from humble beginnings to retire as a Network Engineer. This background in Wide Area Networks (WAN), DNS, and hosting makes him the go-to expert for the "hidden" side of web development—ensuring sites are not just beautiful, but structurally sound and securely hosted. Today, he remains at the forefront of the industry, proficient in modern workflows including Git versioning, Composer, and DDEV environments.

Beyond the Code

Adrian's passion for technology has always been driven by a desire to connect people. Whether he was transitioning a BBS to HTML in the 90s or advocating for Drupal within his Faith community, his work is defined by service.

When the terminal is closed, Adrian is a true polymath:

• Music: A student of the Old Town School of Folk Music, Adrian plays everything from the banjo and upright bass to the trombone (and even the nose-flute).
• History: He explores the roots of Black American music at AfricanBluegrass.com.
• Community: Alongside his wife, he leads PizzaAndSocialJustice.org, a non-profit dedicated to fostering honest, non-threatening dialogue in a polarized world.
